Our Story – A Journey Woven with Courage, Trust & Tradition
Some stories are not written in books. They are woven through generations, carried in memories, sacrifices, and dreams.
The story of Narang Sarees began long before the name existed.
In 1947, during the partition of India, two young brothers — Shri Hans Raj Narang and Shri Des Raj Narang — were forced to leave behind their home, belongings, and everything they had known in Pakistan. Like millions of others, they arrived in India with uncertainty in their hearts but hope in their spirits.
Life was not easy.
The brothers spent their early days in refugee camps, facing hardships that would have discouraged many. But they believed that honest work and determination could build a new future. With little more than courage and a strong work ethic, they began selling cloth by carrying bundles on a bicycle, traveling from one village to another.
Under the scorching sun, through dusty roads and long journeys, they pedaled tirelessly. Every sale was not just a transaction—it was a step toward rebuilding their lives. Every customer was treated with honesty, respect, and gratitude.
What started as a humble bicycle business slowly earned the trust of families across towns and villages. People returned not only for the quality of the fabric but also for the sincerity of the men behind it.
Years of hard work, perseverance, and faith finally brought the brothers to Delhi. In 1980, with a dream that had survived decades of struggle, they established Narang Sarees.
From the very beginning, Narang Sarees was built on a simple belief:
Every Indian woman deserves beautiful, high-quality clothing at a fair and affordable price.
For us, a saree is much more than a garment. It is a symbol of grace, tradition, confidence, and culture. It carries the emotions of weddings, festivals, family celebrations, and cherished memories.
Inspired by the strength, elegance, and dignity of Indian women, we have dedicated ourselves to offering the finest sarees while maintaining the values our founders lived by—quality without compromise, honesty in every transaction, and prices that make beauty accessible to every family.
Today, decades later, Narang Sarees proudly continues the legacy started by two brothers who once rode bicycles from village to village with nothing but determination and a dream.
Their journey reminds us every day that success is not measured by where you begin, but by the values you carry along the way.
As we serve customers across generations, we remain committed to the principles that built our foundation:
Trust. Quality. Affordability. Respect.
From a refugee camp to becoming a trusted name in sarees, the story of Narang Sarees is a tribute to resilience, family values, and the timeless beauty of Indian tradition.
And as we look toward the future, we carry forward the same promise that began nearly eight decades ago—
To celebrate every Indian woman with exceptional quality, heartfelt service, and the finest sarees at the most reasonable prices.
